2. Then you will be directed to the ‘Select contact’ page, select ‘New contact’ from here.

Add an Unsaved Contact From a Chat

You can add contacts from WhatsApp chat groups to your phone. This way you don’t have to enter their phone number to add them as contacts. Here is how to do it on iOS:

1. Go to the chat group that you want to add someone from.
2. Tap on the More icon with three dots or the number.
3. Then tap on ‘Add to Contacts’ and select ‘Create New Contact.’ Now you have added the contact.
